Genesis 7f honored with Best Product 2011 by High Fidelity, Poland

Seattle, WA – Genesis Advanced Technologies, manufacturer of high-end luxury stereo loudspeaker and amplifier systems is honored to announce that the Genesis 7.1f loudspeaker was conferred the Best Product 2011 Award by High Fidelity magazine in Poland.

“When the idea came about from dealers and customers to follow the multi-award winning stand mounted Genesis 7.1c and G7.1p with a floor-standing model AND bring it in at under $8000 with an integrated powered servo-controlled subwoofer, I laughed," said Mr. Gary Leonard Koh, CEO and designer of Genesis Advanced Technologies. "But with the economic crisis, these calls came to a head during RMAF 2008 and I promised a couple of dealers to see what I could do. My biggest challenge was to scale down the high-end Genesis technology, but without compromise - to deliver all of the music, and nothing but the music.”

“By CES 2009, I demo'ed the prototype to great acclaim by my dealers, and we in production by Summer. The Genesis 7.1f won the IDSA/CEA 'Best of Innovations Design and Engineering' award in 2010. I am pleased and honored to receive this latest award even as it has been improved.”

In the review that accompanied the award, the Mr. Marek Dyba summarized the speaker well. We could not have written it any better. “Regardless of whether I listened to acoustic recordings, or electronica, or vocals, or instrumental spectaculars, jazz or classical, blues, rock or film music, I sat on the couch as if bewitched.”

He continued, “...while listening to familiar records, the Genesis Series 7 showed everything in a new light... The sound is neutral, but not cold, very detailed but not over analytical.” Mr. Dyba concluded, “if I had to end my job as a reviewer and simply just listen for pleasure, then (as far as financially possible of course) I would chose my SET with exactly these loudspeaker here. And I would happy. I know that it means nothing of the whole myths of the purist „300B plus horns? thing… seeking phenomenal midrange class and hoping to complement excellent bass and outstanding high frequencies. The Genesis provides such a possibility….”

With numerous reviews and awards, the G7.1f was improved and updated and a new model, the G7.2f was launched at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest – not in enough time to send High Fidelity an updated model for the review.
